We actively take part in raising awareness on the requirements and opportunities entailed in the implementation of the Trade Facilitation Agreement. We have detected the need to optimize the capacities of the different actors involved in order to improve decision-making and maximize efficiency and impact on the economy.

Through our monthly Economic Monitor and special reports, we analyze the country’s macroeconomic variables, investments, general economic context, the evolution of foreign trade, currency exchange rates, national accounts and other key elements of the economy that have an impact on our activity in particular and on society in general.

We make periodic reports with analyses and statistics on the exchange of goods and services, tariff and para-tariff barriers, emergence of new markets, competitiveness, cost of raw materials, among others. We also examine the relationship between imports and employment at local level, as well as regional and global policies.

Customs play an essential role in foreign trade operations as they control the flow of goods brought into the country. We analyze current regulations, competitiveness, internationalization of economic processes and markets, changes in international commerce, and the impact of customs procedures on the development of foreign trade.
